Daniel Graf von der Schulenburg – Vice President
Daniel Graf von der Schulenburg joined Hudson as a Senior Analyst in August 2008. His responsibilities include investment origination, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, monitoring and exit strategy. He is actively involved in Hudson’s former and current portfolio companies, primarily Landis+Gyr, Element Power and GSEI. Prior to Hudson, Mr. Schulenburg received a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, England. At Cambridge he participated in the development of a novel technology to clean radioactive contaminated water, resulting in various scientific publications and a Research Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering. Mr. Schulenburg’s academic credentials also include a MSc in Business Management from the École Supérieure de Commerce Paris (EAP-ESCP) in Paris and a graduation with distinction from the TU Berlin in both Business and Engineering. While in Berlin, Mr. Schulenburg founded and managed a consulting business for forestry investments in East Germany. He also worked for a NGO in Jerusalem and is fluent in English, German and French.
